I disagree with the argument that advertising encourage people to buy in quantity rather than promoting its quality. With the prevailing trend of advertising through various media, people have been encouraged to buy something that has been advertised because they have faith in the quality of brand-name products. Instead of focusing on the sales of products, manufacturers tend to adopt the new market strategy so as to improve their competitive edges. In that respect, advertising is a strategy that can open the market and in turn motivate entrepreneurs to improve their product quality.
