Tv has already become an important part in people's life ,particularly in the children's ones ;and People hold quite different attitudes towards TV's influences on children; personally , although i admit there are some disadvantages brought by watching too much TV, i still believe that TV could play a more positive role in children's development ; Apparently' there are some drawbacks when a kid spends excessive time on watching TV ; firstly , sitting in front of the screen for a long period is said to do harm to one's ; that's why many parents blame TV for causing their kid's healthy problems ; besides , children's social ability ,such as making friends or communicational skills will be negatively influenced if he or she only devotes all the energy to TV ; the more they watch TV , the less time they would accompany with real people ,like family or friends ; the more difficult they find it to interact in the real life ; therefore , it's imperative for both parents and teachers to come up with measures to solve this issue ; furthermore , the kid's academic performance will surly be affected when they are addicted to TV ; they may get distracted by the TV programs and thereby pay less attention to their own study ; without doubt , this could lead to a poor performance at school ; when thinking of these reasons , it is reasonable that parents always prevent their kids from watching TV ; Although , TV may have numerous disadvantages , it still has benefits ; one of these benefits is that there are so many educational programs on TV that children can broaden their horizons in a much easier way ; For example, children are able to learn about the ancient history or wildlife from BBC series and they also can watch some english cartoons to improve their language skill; children surly can benefit a lot from the abundant resources on TV ; besides ; TV has its merits to trigger children's imaginations and creativities ; why ? well , the vivid pictures and special sound effects always provide them fabulous feelings and fire their interest ; moreover , it seems a bit unpractical to stop children from watching TV ; since everyones toady is embraced by TV and the things appear on TV have become the topics when they are having the causal chats ; So if one a kid is forbidden watching TV , he may have nothing in common with others ,which may lead to loneliness and isolations ; So , watching TV should be allowed as long as kids watch it moderately ; to conclude , indulgence in watching could be harmful to both kid's psychological and physical development ; however , children should be encouraged to watch TV as long as parental guidance is provided and time limits are set ;
