At the time computer was invented, scientists, astounded by its fabulous calculating speed, realized that they had created a miracle. It has been believed that computer could do almost anything. Therefore, it was gradually used not only in academic areas like mathematics and physics, but also in crucial scientific domains like the military army and astronomy to replace the work of man. Accordingly, the computer was entitled “Electronic Brain” in terms of its marvelous capabilities. However, can humans be controlled by computers? As far as I think, the answer is negative. Although a computer works much faster and accurately than man, which is beyond dispute, it is, after all, programmed and manufactured by human beings. Thus, those horrible scenes we see in science fictions that we humans be conquered by cold-blooded artificial intelligence are nothing but unrealistic imaginations. The future of the computer is promising. With the help of it, we can do things that could never have done before. Exploring the universe, explaining mysterious phenomena and all that have been puzzling us for a long time are all made possible.
