I am not a supporter of that statement. There are two main reasons. Firstly, snap judgment is a kind of abilities. It does not mean that people make a decision without considering. In the contrary, people with snap judgement are required lots of experience and professional knowledge. In addition, it asks the decision maker, especially the principals in the financial industry, to keep things in mind organizationally to optimize their decision in a very short time, since the opportunities do not stand there and wait for anyone. People desiring the achievement in the changing world have to master those opportunities by using snap judgement. Secondly, the facts that snap judgments cause loss exist in most situations, not in all. For example, when the share market is unstable, share agents need to choose to sell, hold or buy shares quickly. If the snap judgment can never be trusted, who will be a client of share agents. That people giving them money and earning profit is helpful to dispute that statement.
