There is no doubt that the recent hygiene conditions and medical services have promoted the health and longevity of the global population. But in some parts of the world, the rising rate of obesity and unfitness seems to undermine what we have achieved. The two main factors in this mechanism, in my view,are unbalanced diet and the lifestyle without enough sports. Also, mutual efforts are required to tackle these problems. Studies related to the issue reveal that the overweight of people mostly due to the interaction between their ill-structured diet and exercise-needed habit. The interaction does not vary much with the age since both adolescents and adults appear to have similar behavior regarding the popularity of electronic entertainment. For kids and teenagers, outdoor activity is cut off from their daily life because they are busy playing online games or surfing the internet. When it comes to adults, the situation does not change much due to the fact that increasing groups of people choose to have fast food-often contains a large amount of fat- after one day’s hardworking and struck in the coach, staring on TV programs. In this case, fat is accumulated and hardly transited into muscle, which will undeniably hinder the normal function of human body. Meanwhile, the lack of exercise strengthens the detrimental circulation. To address these problems, firstly individuals should refine their current habits,all the way from seeking for a wider selection of food with low fat to engaging abundant sports such as jogging, hiking and swimming. Secondly, government and authorities ought advocate the spirit of healthy lifestyle and fund to establish more infrastructures in order to attract citizens to work out regularly.
