When it comes to the topic of happiness, everyone’s interpretation varies. An inspiring idea goes that happiness is not the absence of problems but the ability to deal with them. I cannot agree with it more. There is no denying that we will encounter many problems in our lives, however, that doesn’t deprive us of the right to pursue happiness. Nick Vujicic had set a great example for us. Born to be multiple-crippled, he had endured numerous spite and contempt. Yet he had never been abandoned by his parents or himself, who at last initiated his speaking career and hence had inspired and elaborated many troubled souls. He also reaped a merry marriage. He taught us to stop regarding obstacles as miserable disadvantages but on the contrary as an opportunity to develop our capacities to solve them. No thorns, no thrones. It is the endeavor we dedicate to the solution of the problems that add to our happiness. I believe, even if confronted with difficulties, so long as we pluck up courage with optimism, we are bound to pull through and find our way to happiness.
