Those who think that with the world development people in the future can do more things that they are interested might say people will have more time for leisure activities. However, I disagree with this statement that people have more time for leisure activities in the future. There're two major aspects: the work time and what people are interested in. Firstly, the living cost may increase in the future, which will drive people to spend more time on work to earn money. After twenty years, the society will become more and more developed. I think at that time, people who only have one job may not have enough salary to buy everything that they want. So if they want to buy what they want, they should spend more time on work not on leisure activities. Moreover, I think people in the future will care more about material, so I think people will pay more attention to money not to leisure activities. In this competitive world,people tend to pursue efficiency. Everything is centered around money. the history shows that the more developed the society becomes, the longer the working time of people. In summary, I disagree with this statement that people will spend more time to leisure activities in the future.
