Since we were young, we were told to act after thorough consideration in order to avoid mistakes or faults. That's why some people argue that snap decision means mindless and reckless，meanwhile, others hold opposite view think snap judgments is much more efficient and practical. However, I think it depends on the situation we meet. During a more urgent situation, a snap judgment actually can be trust and followed. When a emergency happened, the most unworkable reaction is having no action, due to the time is fleeing, what we need is a quick, overall decision, because time isn’t enough, we should ignore trivial details. Actually when we are under huge pressure, the more you hesitate the more you will anxious, and it's very disadvantageous for us to judge, instead of missing the right second what we should do is making a snap judgment. Om the contrary, if we are having a meeting about whether a project can be implemented, a decision after detailed and comprehensive discussion may be better. Because we have more time and more people that we can gather everyone's idea and thought. As the saying goes: "many hands make the light work". In addition, snap judgment doesn't mean crude or bold, and considered judgment doesn't mean hesitating or complicated, they all based on observation and calm analysis, although the latter one is more cover-all and detailed, their essence are the same－selecting the most important thing. Therefore, we can't say snap judgment is definitely untrustworthy.
