It is still a controversial topic that which our society can benefit more from, art or politic? The people who majored in art may support the former and the people who have benefited from politic may choose the latter. Nevertheless, I am not with anyone of them. I believe that the beneficiary, our society, benefits the same profit from artists as from the political leaders. As a matter of fact, each of the political leaders will have his or her own goals to manage the country. And goals are what to define which decision we should take, hence, politic make sure the society develops in the right way. The last few decades have witnessed the economic development in China and this is because of a new policy raised by a great president who is also a politician. Before the president has this proposition, China was a rudimentary country and the Chinese economy was very negative. Nevertheless, when this illustrious president was in power, he proposed that Chinese people nowadays should give maximum effort to accelerate the development of economy. And after he was in power, the civil have started working in tending to promote the economic development. As we now see that China, as a developing country, has almost the same economic power as some European countries. Thus, a politic leader can provide people with a better development direction. Without the direction of all of our effort will be inefficiency and our society will be a mess. “Art brings you hope when you feel hopeless, give you comfort when you are anxious and support you when you are defeated.” The numerous ancient artist Rodin said. As Rodin said, art can promote people to keep working when they feel tired, which can guarantee the advance of the society. To children, music and fine art can motivate them to create their own works. To youngster, listening to some music such as rock or hip-pop is the best way to relax when they feel sick of their homework. To adults who are busy with their work, they can feel the beauty of the world by going to the art museum frequently. As a result, art can provide motivations for people and stimulate them to work hard. Without the motivation and our efforts, all the goals are useless and the society will never progress. To sum up, goals and motivations are equally indispensable to our society. Political leaders can provide us with goals and artists can give us motivations, thus, in the contrast of the statement mentioned in the topic, the society can benefit the same from both political leaders and artists.
