With the rapid development of economy in our country, many serious problems have come out at the same time. These problems undoubtably decrease the quality of life in large cities. Here are some reasons as follows. A large number of people work and study in the large city. This means that more vehicles and more buildings are needed to satisfy the people. As a result, there is much car fumes threatening people's health and less places for public entertainment such as parks. Another reason is that people have to face fierce competition in the large city. Many people have to compete for relatively limited job opportunites, which will make them under great pressure. They may feel anxious in their work. To solve these problems, several measures have to be taken. For one thing, new technologies should be encouraged to develop to reduce the environment pollution. For example, the government shoule encourage people to buy elctronic cars instead of those cars burning fossil fuels. Also, elctronic buses should put in use. So there will be less air pollution and less health risks to people. For another, we should raise people's awareness of exercise and health because taking exercise is a good way to reduce pressure and relax. Finally, the governments should build more exercise facilities so that more people have the chance to exercise. I belive that if we develop a habit of healthy lifestyle, and use new technologies, we can increase the life qulity and improve the sense of happiness.
