People now, especially parents, are giving maximum effort on their works. This will cause them spend most of their time on career lives and hardly stay with their children. I believe that once they have spare time, they should bring their kids outside for fun such as playing games and doing sports rather than doing something relates to schoolwork. Admittedly, study together with children can help them finish their homework much quicker and better. Children will concentrate on their school work instead of playing, if their parents are staying with them. When I was an elementary school student, I always hung out with my classmates and always did my schoolwork slowly because my mother was busy with her work and had no time to supervise me. Then, couple of years later, my mother had become an administrator, so, she got enough time to stay with me while I was doing my homework. As a result, my schoolwork’s quality has improved because my mother was there and I forced to concentrate on my homework. However, playing games can strengthen the relationships between kids and parents. Children will consider their parents as rigid people if they hardly play together. For instance, my uncle spends time on playing with my cousin in his spare time. They go to park together, go to parties together and play cards together. As my uncle uses almost all of his spare time to chat with my cousin, there is no gap between them. In addition, children can benefit from doing sports. This is mainly because doing sports can keep their bodies fit and simultaneously relaxed their kids from a hard day of study. My friend Mary who has a healthy body, goes to the gym with her parents when they come back from a hard day work. Although the whole family can only spend one hour there, it works very well as she actually relaxed in the gym and after doing sports she is full of energy, which means she can come back to her homework with a good mood. As a result, at the same time she got a fine body, she can always finish her homework in shortest time and highest quality. To sum up, if I were a parent, there is no doubt that study with children can help them finish their homework faster and better, but, to strengthen the relationships between children and parents and to keep kids healthy and relaxed, I would rather spend time on playing games and doing sports with my children, especially when I am not have abundant time.
