Some employers think that formal academic qualifications are more important than life experiences and personal qualities when they look for an employee. Why is it the case? Is it a positive or negative development? (071013)
结论:国家可以出台相关的法律法规related laws and regulations should be constituted,媒体应该进行自我审查impose auto-censorship,来规范媒体和记者的行为。
We are living in an age where current information can be spread out immediately and people can get informed of news just by clicking the mouse and surfing the internet, which means mass madia plays a vital role in modern society. More importantly, citizens are accustomed to acquiring the information to make decisions that are related to house investment, marriage and health problems. Personally speaking, mass media also have the merits and demerits. On the one hand, positive news that include person's selfless sacrifice and the legend of personal career can always encourage average people's ambition and aspiration to make endeavour and evoke the public's compassion and appreciation. For example, the popular TV show Touching China, which is about the story of average people, has commented the beautiful teacher Zhang Lili who had saved many children's lives from an uncontrolled bus. Unfortunately, she lost her legs. When people heard the news about dedication they always felt appreciated and compassionate for what some strangers had done. This is what the news' glamour has. On the other hand, some media usually exaggerate the truth and put the mysterious veil to attract people's attention such as famous stars' scandals, politicians' sexual affair and athletic stars' violence and so on. Undoubtly, some people will be attracted by these superficial information and these media can also benefit from it's topic and hotness. However, reporting these unhealthy and ridiculous news, these media could affect the public's outlook unconsciously. People's aesthetic standard will decline to seek for excitement and violence. These above impacts are not beneficial for the development of society, particularly our dwellers. In conclusion, although mass media have unexpected influence on people's behaviour and psychology, yet they also bring unconscious effect to mould people's character. The state should supervise and control the reported content of mass media so as to create the harmonious ambience.
