Although they are close to each other in reality, they are far from each other in mentality. Several factors can account for such a depressed phenomenon. First and foremost, now in China the overwhelming majority of the teenagers are the only child of their families. Parents are busy with their works, leaving their youngsters alone. As a result, necessary communication is absent when children are growing up. Naturally, with the rapid development of network children spend more time on the Internet in seeking communication or having fun. Secondly, the quickening pace of our life brings ever-increasing pressure to people. Surfing on the Internet is a way to release their stress. Thus, both adults and children become addicted to network. To tackle this problem, it is necessary for people, especially for those who have been addicted to the network, to participate in more activities in real life. As for undergraduates, I think it is advisable to take part in some creative technology competitions to explore the mysteries of nature sciences. In this process, we can know where our interests are and we can make new friends. We can also find our value in real life. In this way, can we take good advantage of social networks without addiction to it.
