The Mid-Autumn Festival is one of the traditional Chinese festivals, it starts from the ancient time and nowadays most of us still celebrate it as the moment to reunion the family. Usually people back to home no matter how far the place their work is, or how busy they are on the work. According to the Chinese lunar calendar the Mid-Autumn festival falls on the mid of August when the moon is completely revealed. Most of Chinese family like to enjoy the moon cake or sending the moon cake with greeting as a gift to friends. The difference between modern time and old time is, some people like to make a travel plan or visiting friends when mid-autumn festival has been lawfully set as a public holiday, instead of dinning home with families and enjoy the landscape.
