As is subtly portrayed in the picture, two visitors are going sightseeing on a boat in the lake. At the same time, they are throwing rubbish into the lake. What’s more, there is much other domestic garbage on the surface of the lake. It is hardly necessary for me to cite all the evidence of the depression of the bad behavior of visitors—destroying the environment we are living in. Apart from leaving garbage at any time and any place, worst of all, a number of visitors even linger bad marks on the historic site. Undoubtedly, tourism does help to the development of economy. However, every coin has two sides. Tourism is not exception. Negative effects on the environment come as the thrive on the economy tourism brings. For instance, water is polluted, the ecological system is disturbed, and natural resources have been excessively used. It is high time that we improved the present situation of tourism by enhancing people’s awareness that we should be friendly to environment. Nature gives us all the sources that we need. We should make a comeback to nature. It’s base that we do not throw domestic garbage here and there. What’s more, deforestation and over fish ought to be banned. And living a low-carbon lifestyle is also necessary. Thus, in our daily life, we are supposed to try our best not to use private automobiles, instead of taking bus or riding cycle bike. After all, the environmental protection begins at home.
