As is subtly portrayed in the picture, two visitors are going sightseeing on a boat in the lake. However,after having a picnic they throw the rubbish into the lake where there has been much domestic garbage. It is unnecessarily for me to cite all the evidence of the depressed and bad behaviors of visitors, which have caused serious damage to our environment. Apart from littering at random, a number of visitors linger bad marks on the historic sites when they enjoy the beautiful scenery. There is no doubt that tourism does promote economic development. However, every coin has two sides and tourism is no exception. Negative effects on the environment come as tourism brings the thrive on the economy. For instance, water is polluted, natural resources have been excessively used, and the ecological system is disturbed. From a long-term perspective, it is high time that we improved the environment at present by enhancing people’s awareness of being friendly to it. Nature gives us all the sources that we need. We should protect and repay it such as we do not throw trash at will. In addition, other behaviors that brings damage to our environment such as deforestation and over-fishing ought to be banned. And living a low-carbon lifestyle is also advocated for energy conservation. Thus, in our daily life, instead of using private automobiles, we had better take public transport vehicles or ride the bike as much as possible. In a word, the environmental protection starts from things around us.
