Due to different territories own different natural conditions.Such as, tempreture, water, soil and light. For example, the climite conditions are not good for tropical plants in cold area. That's to say, the local productions are produced in its special region. Usually the farm is far away from the city. In order to meet the need of market, food transportantion araising. As the farming products are transportated to other places, most are cities, the farmer would gain money. So the local economy would be thrived, and farmer's life would be improved. At the same time, long time transportation drives the logistics service and food processing. Last but not least, this would enrich people's diet structure. However, each coin has two sides. Because the long time food transportation, it might cause food rotting. At the end, the price of food would increae many times. This might increase consumer's life burden. On the other hand, transportation would lead to environment pollution caused by emission of exhaust gas. On the whole, I think its benifits would outweigh its diaadvantages. Nowadays, the development of internet, innovative transportation would disolve kind of problems mentioned above.
