借助这道考题,给大家介绍两个词汇,两个使我受益匪浅的词汇,一个是“话题万能论点库”,另一个叫做“交叉选择”。它们将成为我们雅思写作的最大利器。今天我们就借助这两个概念来击破这道题目,同时攻破浩如烟海的一系列相关题目。
第一个词条,需要我们做以下三个步骤:
1)将雅思考题(比如08到10年)按照话题进行分类。
2)确定每一类话题当中使用频率最高,实用性最强的论点。
3)将论点按照“正面”和“负面”进行分类。
首先,让我们来做一个话题判定。关键词:education--教育类computer skills--科技类。由此可知,为教育类以及科技类相结合的话题,第二个关键词的作用就体现出来了,我们需要将这两类话题的万能论点库进行一个“交叉选择”,也就是将教育类和科技类合适的论点进行综合。
以下为我在辛辛苦苦写了雅思写作考试近四年所有考试题目之后总结出来的教育类以及科技类的万能论点中的一部分:

现在让我们来做一个交叉选择。在两个话题万能论点库中,发现以下几条适合本题:
Positive:
1) 掌握计算机技术可以使我们更好地适应现代社会要求(教育类positive第二条)
2) 掌握计算机技术可以提高职业竞争力(教育类positive第三条)
3)可以提高学习效率(科技类positive第一条)
Negative:
不一定要成为学校正规课程计划的一部分。由于电脑和网络的普及,计算机技术完全可以在课下学习。(教育类negative第二条)

大家可以发现,教育类和科技类话题几乎都可以用相同的论点进行解决。有了万能论点库,在考场上几乎不用当场思考,直接调用已经准备好的观点即可,因为它们是如此的万能实用性如此之强。举个例子,教育类话题只要提前准备好了十个万能论点,上考场只要是碰到教育类话题,你都没问题,都可以从这十句话中挑选出合适的论点来组织文章。
句法方面做得很棒,但是从句不多;文中词汇使用灵活,高级词汇使用较丰富;文章结构不错,使用了丰富的衔接词和过渡词。
Recently it is hotly debated that whether computer skills should be added to the education schedule. Some people hold the opinion that computer is an essential skill which has played a critical role in the world. The opponents, nevertheless, claim that computer learning will add students’ burden and also distract students’ attention. As far as I am concerned, I supported the former opinion. To begin with, computer is one of the most significant inventions in this century, which has speed up the productivity and efficiency of society. Countless information and data is stored in computer systems. As we all know, human beings have entered a century of information. Without skills of computer, students in the future cannot follow the tide of development of current world. Secondly, computer makes connections between individuals and community and society closer. People can contact each other easily through Internet, which makes the boundaries among people closer. Therefore, teaching computer skills can strengthen the closeness and intimacy among people, which will lead to a harmonious world. Last but not least, computer can expand students’ horizon as well as boost their competitiveness, leading to a more brilliant future. On the other hand, some people also hold the reasons against teaching computer skills in schools. Firstly, students already have heavy burden of study on their shoulders. Adding computer teaching to their curriculum will make the workload unbearable. Moreover, students who are less self-disciplined are easy to be attracted and become addicted to computer games, which will lead to undesirable results. Thereby, it is not suggested to teach students computer skills in schools. Despite of the drawbacks mentioned above, I still hold the view that the advantages overweight the disadvantages. The computer can broaden individuals’ world, improve efficiency in society as well as draw interpersonal distance closer. I strongly recommend that computer teaching should be added to the curriculum.
