Honest, intelligence and a sense of humor all mean a great deal to success in life. However, they are dwarfed by willpower, the most critical characteristic that a person can have to be successful in life. As the saying goes, indomitable willpower can conquer the world on any one peak. There are too many difficulties and accidents around us. We will stand up again from them, is inseparable from our desired and willpower. Generally speaking, willpower is indispensable for everyone, which makes us strong and confident. When coming across complicate problems, a person with strong will would remain unruffled and take them calmly, because he or she firmly believe that all the difficulties and setbacks can be defeated. Conversely, some people tend to throw in the towel due to the lack of willpower, even they have intelligence and ability. That fear of results which be exaggerated in advance makes it difficult for them to make every effort and show their real ability. What’s more, they become disappointed, passive and hesitated, causing the results worse and worse. To sum up, willpower remains fundamentally to our careers. Intelligence, ability and talent can be functioned only if one have willpower and courage to face all the frustration throughout our tough life. To achieve great accomplishments, we must have a strong will.
