As is shown above， in the greenhouse stands a flower, growing vigorously, with the shelter protecting it from the rain and storm. However, once removed out of the shelter, the flower can not stand anymore and the leaves drop immediately. The implication is not only informative but instructive as well. It's not surprise that the picture is arousing much chatter——nothing get people talking like the suggestion that out children, though not all, were considered as the flower in the greenhouse. Sad to say, this analogy is not an exaggeration. Never in any era of our nation have children been more protected than now. Parents do their level best to offer their children elegant dress, delicious food, and expensive electronic equipment. But regrettably, spoiling is completely short-sighted and even dangerous. Excessive protection has turn out to be mostly dependency and weakness. From parents' perspective, suffering, understandably, looks far less like the way to success more like unbearable pain. But teenagers could and should be so. Character can not be developed in ease and quiet. Only through experience of trail and suffering can the soul be strengthened, ambition inspired and success achieved.
