In recent years, it appears a phenonmenon of ignoring the study of Chinese among the students, which they assert that Chinese is not more important than a foreign language-English. There are many reasons for the ignorance of the Chinese studying. Firstly, with the development of economy and scientific technology, more and more jobs are required to having the ability of speaking English fluently when you talk with the foreigners. Secondly, English is the language which the people used the most widely, thus, we should learn English brilliantly which can cultivate the ability of talk about others and translation. What's more, the students asserted that Chinese was our mother language and we have learned over years so we were familiar with it and give up studying Chinese any more. But as for me, learning Chinese carefully is a citical thing which it can improve our ability of communication and intellgence. Chinese's position is as important as the other languages. Thus, we should pay attention to studying Chinese and other languages which it is helpful for us at the same time. Last bue not least, Chinese is not only a language for communicating with other people but also improving the ethnics of ourselves. To summarize, we can't ignore the study of Chinese because Chinese is our major speaking language in our daily life. Learning Chinese frequently is good and helpful for yourself all the time.
