At present, there is a growing number of people prefer to celebrate the western festivals when the western festivals are coming. Even it has the same meaning with the Chinese festivals in China, they figure out that celebrating the western festivals are much happier than celebrating eastern festivals. There are many reasons for the celebration of western festivals. Firstly, with the development of social economy, China has absorbed many essence of foreign culture, which has developed the traditional customs in China. Secondly, many persons regard that the western festivals are funnier than Chinese festivals. For instance, some couples can enjoy their happiness in Valentine's Day, which it brings much happy emotion in their life. From my own perspective, it is helpful and useful to celebrate the western festivals so we should consider this thing rationally. On the one hand, it expresses the ability of absorbing foreign culture in our country on the extent. On the other hand, celebrating the western festivals is expressing the fact that the citizens' abilities of accepting foreign culture is strong, which it can improve the development of social economy in China. To summarize, it is good to celebrate the western festivals. Thus, we should assert the foreign culture rationally.
