Recently, quite a few people concern about the problem that overcrowded tourists may damage our environment. For the sake of protecting our environment, they think that we should slow down the developed pace of tourism. Personally, I don’t agree that tourism is harmful to our environment, on the contrary, I think that the tourism is able to promote the development of environment. With the improvement of people’s living standards, travelling has increasingly played an important part in people’s life, it’s not a wise way to slow down the speed to develop the tourism. In addition, I hold the opinion that tourism is beneficial to our environment. Protecting environment needs the support of money, therefore, if our tourism develops, we will obtain more money to protect our environment. The environment is not damaged by the tourists but the quality of tourists. If each of us can develop an awareness of protecting our environment, I believe we can gain a win-win situation that both our environment and our tourism can develop.
