When we read a book which is about some stories in a particular period, we can really feel that special background the author wants to conduct to us. We feel like that we are the protagonist and are experiencing everything. Different books convey different emotions to us. For example, detective novels can help us improve our logical thinking. I am always addicted in the stories and use all the clues just as the detector. If the book is based on some real stories, we can always learn the description of the history of some places. I think it is easier for us to know some places when they are combined with some absorbing stories. No one would like to read some tiresome descriptions which make you feel asleep. Movies are quite different from books and they are more animated than books. We can only construct the world in our brains when reading books. But in films, the actors present all the things to us. We can understand the whole story in a better way. What more is that we can see the real scene in some places that are more exact than what we imagine. All in all, whichever books or movies, we can learn some histories in both. The roles in them can give us many encouragements and the bad people can give us a warning.
