As the progress of information technology, world wide web integrates people in different regions, and the electronic pruducts play a more and more important part in the communication and transmission of information. E-books which are read through these pruducts become popular in the young generation. Some thinks e-books will replace traditional books. Firstly, comparing to traditional books, e-books are cheaper. The course of making e-books is easier than tranditional books, and sometimes the resourses of e-books are free to download in internet. Secondly, e-books are more portable. If you want move thoudsands of tranditional books from one place to another, a truck may be useful, but only a mobile hard disk with thoudsands of e-books. Thirdly, e-books are more available than traditional books. For example, we can download the lasted Science journal at home. Forth, e-books as opposed to traditional books will save nature resoures. In my view, e-books will replace traditonal books partly, but not completely. It should be realized that traditional books have its peculiar advantage. To begin with, one fatal shortcoming of e-books is that it need electricity. Once we cannot get enough energy, the e-books can not be read. Then, traditional books are more suitable for deep reading. The screen of electronic pruducts will make people anxious, and ignore important parts of books. But traditional books will lengthen the time of reading, make us more careful in reading and think fully.
