Education as lifelong Process The true education is not what we have learnt but what has been left after we forget what we have learnt. The knowledge we acquire from education, of course, will provide us with more opportunities when we want to find a decent job. While, actually , the greatest blessing that education bring to us is not just the guarantee for a decent job, but more about the elegant way of living a life and the broadened minds towards various things we may confront in our whole life. So, it`s my view that education is really a lifelong process. In different stages of our life, we will receive different types of education. When we are students, we study from primary school to university, in which our minds are enlightened by reading novels, having science classes and so many other school activities. In this stage, we equip our brains with knowledge from books and teachers, and also enrich our social communication experience by the simulated campus associations or activities, so as to make well preparations for our entrance to society. When we graduate from our university, we find a job and became a member of society, from which we will receive the second type of education. There are various walks of people in society, from whom we will learn much so as to integrate ourselves with society. In the second stage, we need to chose who we want to be in society and choose the way that is suitable for us. Of course, to keep our mind insane, we should also keep the habits of reading books or attending meaningful lecture apart from learning from our social models. Only by keep learning, can we make sure that we will not follow suit and become aimless in life. Only by keep receiving education, can we make our mind open and our life in the rail we want it to be. Therefore, I firmly believe that education should be a lifelong process. Only by updating our learning day by day, can we follow the step of our times , keeping our mind open and living a life we are satisfied with.
