Competition or Co-operation Competition and cooperation are common phenomena in our human society, which can be perceived in individuals, enterprises and countries all over the world. When in comes to the question that whether competition is more important than cooperation, there is no absolutely right answer. As far as I`m concerned, I hold the belief that both competition and cooperation are important and in different conditions like in a team, in a context and in many other conditions, the proportions that competition and cooperation account for are different. When we are in a team, there is no denying that cooperation will take a larger proportion within the team. But outside of one team, there`s fierce competition between different two teams. So in a team, we value team cooperation very much. Only by unifying each member of one team, can that team be much powerful to counterattack their rivalry. It`s the same case in an enterprise, an organization and a country. In an enterprise and an organization, to successfully implement one plan, we need to make joint efforts and have close cooperation. Similarly,a country need to have interaction with other countries and enhance economic cooperation, cultural cooperation and so forth in order to optimize the distribution of resources and bring more benefits to the people of the country. While, meanwhile, competition is indispensable in the process of cooperation. Cooperation within a team, an enterprise or an organization is to defeat the opposition or to carve a cliche for themselves. So, we can see that competition and cooperation are twins, who appear together. Therefore, in my view, both competition and cooperation are important. Competition forces us to have cooperation, while having cooperation is to win in the competition. When our focus is within a team, cooperation stands out. When our focus is on the winner and loser, competition is more conspicuous. Different conditions determine different proportion that competition and cooperation account for. But remember, competition and cooperation are twins.
