Can snap judgments be trusted? We`ll confront with tens of hundreds of choices and decisions in our life. Some choices and decisions will have a lifelong influence on us , thus needing us to have a deliberation. Having a snap judgement without a deliberation may cause much latent aftermath. So when it comes to whether snap judgments can be trusted or not, my answer is definitely "no". I will have elaboration on my argument by combing examples. As students, one of the most far-reaching decision in our growth period is to choose a major when we are going to universities. Many children choose a major following instructions of their parents and they will have a hot discussion in terms of choosing a major. But some students may make a choice by themselves. Of course, no matter they are guided by someone or not, they may be careful when they make a choice. But there are still many students making decisions carelessly and choose a major just by its name without knowing deeper about what this name really means. Then they`ll regret for their snap judgement when they find that the major they choose is boring and does not conform to their interest. Apart from choosing a major, of course, we shall be in face of finding a job, a life soul or some trivial things like the color of a pair of shoes. No matter it matters or not, it does have an influence on us. Therefore, if possible, we should avoid snap judgments and form the habit of doing something after twice thinking because snap judgments can seldom be trusted.
