In accordance with what is detailedly demonstrated by the bar chart above,we can observe distinctly that the subscription number of the mobile phones in developed countries had a slight increase from 2000 to 2007 and has remained constant since then.Meanwhile,the subscriptions in developing countries have witnessed a dramatic increase,especially from 2004 to 2008. It is no difficult to come up with some possible factors to account for this phenomenon.At the top of the list is the noticeable trend of improvement of the living standards in developing countries.It is reported that it is with the rapid growth of the economic in these countries that mobile phones have become a life necessity overnight rather than a luxury.Besides,we must admit that developing countries have a far larger population and accordingly a larger demand for mobile services than developed countries.Finally,what is responsible for the situation is that the mobile phone service in developing countries has been increasingly cheaper these years. As discussed in above-mentioned,it is no surprise to see this difference.And I confirmedly believe that this established trend will continue for quite a while in the forthcoming years.
