How I Have Benefited from My Universty Life My university life is coming to an end, but the deep influences it brings me will never be forgotten. I am always grateful to the classmates, the teachers, and the experience I have undergone during my university days. Just as people can never come to the other side of a river without a bridge, so no one is able to live a colorful life without some unforgettable memories. My university time provides me with numerous benefits which will be engraved in my mind for my entire life. The foremost thing I have learnt is to be independent. Prior to the beginning of my university life, I had been taking refuge in my parents' wings. For almost twenty years, they have spared no efforts to made decisions for me, and to protect me from all kinds of harms. But it is in the university that I walk boldly away from their protection and that I learn how to adjust into the real life on my own. I have made many friends, participated in various extracurricular activities, had my temp-work and made money for the first time. What's more, living away from my falimy, I come to have a better understanding of my parents' love for me. In addition, besides entertainment, I have drawn knowledge from university as well. University education is totally different from the previous ones. So inclusive and comprehensive is the university education that I can gain access to courses beyond my major. I have learnt the relation between chemics and cosmetic, the manufacture of flash animation, and the beauty of Chinese classics and so on. With regard to my own major, I was encouraged to study in a wider and deeper way, that is to say, I must abandon the learning methods of middle school students, instead, to spend more efforts on my major and set a higher standard. I am convinced that the knowlege and its relevant studying means will benefit me in the rest of my life. All in all, my university days is an internal component of my life. With its profound influences, I am able to be independent both physically and psychologically, I managed to embark on a new way of learning, and I am approaching my ideal self.
