If the passer-by just sees the man holding the old woman rather knows what the thing happened completely. Whether the passer-by would consider it's the man who push the old woman down? Maybe the passer-by will.Secondly, If a girl heard her boy friend saying "I love you" on the phone to other's people, will she believe her boy friend doesn't love her anymore? If the girl just believe what she heard but not to ask who that be. Will she break up with her boyfriend? Maybe the boy just told to his mother that he love her. In my opinion, it's stupid to conclud what you hear or what you see immediately. To know what the whole thing happened is really important.
