With the increasing popularity of the Internet, people are deeply influenced by the burgeoning diversity of communication tools and social network websites, especially teenagers. From the positive point of view, people in different places, who have lost contact for a long time are connected again. The Internet promotes the interpersonal communication among old friends and helps people make new friends. Furthermore, when checking the facebook or weixin, people not only share their stories in life, but also some news and information. Whereby our views are broadened and knowledge is enriched through the interpersonal communicaton online with people in various fields and from thousand miles away. On the contrary, the Internet has its negative effects. Although the high-tech communication tools get people around the world together, they to some degree alien the people who should have been much closer, for instance, parents with their children. Teenagers would turn to their online friends when they came acrss difficulties or when they wanted to share something happy instead of talking with their parents. What's more, if we stand on the street or in an elevator, we would definitely find everybody playing their smart phones. There are no weather or news chat among strangers any more. The Internet makes a difference to our life, in both good and bad way. To find the optimum balance of the usage of it is what we have to do. People need to talk to the real person again.
