Personally speaking, i refer to study alone which is also my personal study habit from middle school rather than study with a group of students. I will explain why with the following two main reasons. First of all, it helps me focus more on the reading and improving the efficiency of study. generally speaking, when studying with the others, some students sometimes can't help talking with others. At first, the topics they are talking are related with what they are studying, but no one can promise that as times goes, they talked about things which have nothing with the readings and books. Studying with others is a barrier that prevents the students get deep into the books. The most possible result is that we spend a lot of time to study together but we have learnt nothing.Time is limited and it's really a waste of time. just take my own experience for example, when i was in middle school, there were several times that i studied with my classmates. During studying ,we always could't help taking with each other about singers , actors and so on for a long time. Several hours later, we found that we even didn't started reading. From these experiments, we realized that studying with others is a waste of time. secondly, studying alone is a good training of independent thinking as well as improving the ability of solving problems independently. Studying alone keeps students talking with others when studying, which helps the students focus on what they are reading and get a deep understanding of the books.At the same time, when they confront some questions, no one they can ask immediately,the only thing they can do is to look for more books , try to find the answer by themselves and finally form their own ideas. Independent thinking and solving problems independently are two crucial abilities of study and I believe studying alone is helpful to improve these two abilities. with what discussed above, it's time to stress my viewpoint again that I refer to study alone because it not only helps me focus more on the reading and improving the efficiency of study, but also benefit for improving the ability of independent think and solving problems independently.
