Currently, parents always arrange everything for their children. The reason is that they claim what they do is beneficial to their children. Nevertheless, the children become dependent and lack the ability to face their lives by themselves. Because of that, I hold the point that parents should spare no efforts to help their children to be independent. The ways to help children to be independent are as follows. Firstly, parents must transform their thoughts. Only by letting children try to do something by themselves can do them a favor to cultivate a good habit. There is one more point that parents should give their children the freedom to make choices for themselves. If they make an erroneous choice, parents should instruct them carefully. Last but not least, when children face difficulties, parents shouldn't immediately give their hands to their children and give them some time to think how to figure out it. The quality of independence is dispensable to a person. Only an independent individual can live a meaningful life.
