Kunming, the capital city of Yunnan province, is located in the south west of China. It is best known as “the Spring City” in China. It is abundant in plants, animals and minerals, so it is also called the kingdom of plants, animals and minerals. There are 25 ethnic groups dwell on this land, they live in harmonious with Han people for many years. I am very proud to be a citizen live in Kunming. First and foremost, people in Kunming are friendly and hospitality. They are not hostile for the new comers who are planning to settle down in Kunming, They welcome friends and tourists from afar to Kunming to enjoy the unique ethnic culture and customs, so you can easily get along well with the Kunming people. Secondly, Kunming is a spring city, the climate in Kunming is the best in China, and we have fresh air, blue sky and beautiful flowers all the year round. Thirdly, the expenditure in Kunming is not as high as in the big cities in China, and there is less life pressure living in Kunming compared to other big cities. So it is very wise for you to choose to live in Kunming. But, there are also some problems in Kunming as the big cities, due to many people are flocking to move to the big cities from small towns and villages, Kunming is overcrowded and facing some traffic and pollution problems as other cities. Whereas, these problems are not the big issues which can prevent our decisions for choosing to living a city.
