More and more universities are planning to build their new campuses due to the extensive enrollment of students year after year. In order to accommodate the increased number of students, universities have to find new places to build a new campuses. Some people argue that it is appropriate to build a new university in my community. As far as I am concerned, build a new university in my community which has both advantages and disadvantages. In the first place, it will improve the development of the community. When a new university will be built in the community, the government will improve the facilities in the community, such as the transportation, fundamental infrastructures as well as the environment. Second, it will offer more job opportunities for the people in the community. Building a new university will depend on a lot of labor force, so more and more manpower will be needed to construct the new university. People in the community can found a job easily and do not need to find a job far away from home. And when the university is constructed and with the students moved in, more job opportunities are awaiting the people in the community to take, such as opening a shop, running a restaurant and hotels. Thirdly, it will be convenient for the local people to enjoy the facilities in the university. When there is a university in our community, people can have a chance to go into the university to enjoy themselves or do some exercise. While, there are also some disadvantages for building a university in the community, such as damage the environment, making the community more noisy and crowded than before. All in all, every coin has two sides, so it is good to build a university in a community, but we should admit that it may also bring us some disadvantages.
