Recently, there is a problem that caused a heated discussion about the importance of a name. Some people hold the view that the name is not important at all while others hold oppsite view. From my perspective, I totally agree that name is significant. First of all, name for a person just like a symbolize. It Is a gift which is given by our parents. As the result of it, we should be precious it rather than change our name casually and think it not important. The reason why our parents give names to us is that we are family. If we are not family, why they gives names to us. They have no right to do that also not care about it. In addition, people show their respect to you when people call your name. In other ways，people think you are not important to them so they call you by another way. Therefore, to respect others and ourselves, we should treasure our name.
