From my own perspective, I hold the view that phone call is not able to kill letter writing. Maybe phone call is convenient for people nowadays, but letter writing has its special charm for people. Phone call brings great convenience for business and individuals, we love to use cellphone to call our parents to release the homesick when we pursue our further study in a far place; we will call someone for help if there are some problems; and managers could communicate issues together with their superiors in the phone even they may not be in the same city. So we can see that our life is more colorful with the existence of phone, but it can not kill letter writings. Letter writing stands for a kind of romance. When we go traveling, we usually prefer to send postcards to our intimate friends or ourselves instead of calling someone. When we try to pursue someone, we might love to show our feeling through letters. Of course, the use of letter writing might be less with the appearance of telephone, but it will not be kill by telephone. In conclusion, phone call has great impact on our life, improves our life quality while letter writing also brings us pleasure and enjoyment. So phone call can not kill letter writings.
