1.So, I’m going to talk about a Japanese movie called “our little sister”. You probably haven’t heard its English name, so I’ll tell you its Chinese name, and maybe a lot of people have heard of it. It is called “海街日记”. I hope that my presentation will interest you and that anyone will be willing to see the film. Then let’s look at the rough outline on the screen. The first one is the author’s brief introduction. The second is a synopsis of the story. The third one is the introduction of characters. The last one is some comments related to the film. 2.The director is Hirokazu koreeda. He was born in Tokyo in 1962. In 1987,he graduated from the first literature department at Waseda University, which is a famous university in Japan. Since then, he has directed many films from directing documentaries to the present, of which “third killings” and the “I became a father” have also been widely acclaimed and won many awards. This ”our little sister” also won the sixty-eighth Cannes Film Festival Palme d’Or Award and the Japan Academy Award nomination. 3.The film tells the story of four girls living together. Eldest sister is Yuki and the second sister is Yoshino, the third sister is Chika, the youngest sister is Suzu, who is the half sister, it also shows the origin of the name of the film. The four girls first met at their father’s funeral. After the funeral, Yuki invited Suzu to live with them. They have had a good time ever since. But when the mother reappeared, some of the scars they chose to ignore were uncovered and the mood of the four people collided. More details can be seen by watching the movie. Time is limited, so I can only stop here. 4.Next is the brief introduction of the heroines. As I just mentioned , there are four heroines in the film. The Eldest sister is performed by Ayasa Harukaku; the second is Nasagawa masami; the third is kaho; the fourth is Hirosu suzu. 5.So good is the movie that it moved me and allows me to reflect on contemporary relationships after watching it. I think the movie shows people’s attitudes toward family, love, affection and friendship. Many people think the movie is very healing and can bring them a different sense of calm. But some people think this movie is not as good as Hirokazu Koreeda. Just as the saying goes, one thousand people total one thousand Hamlett, I hope you can go to see the movie to find your own Hamlett!
