In the current society, watching television has been become the very important and widespread activity among the teenagers. Meanwhile, whether television is beneficial to children or not cause a heated discussion in the society. Some people propose that watching television is a positive activity to youths while some claim children could be seriously addictive to TV. As a matter of fact, I will analyze this phenomenon and give my recommendation in my essay. To begin, television indeed has many drawbacks for young people because of its intrinsic features. More specifically, children tend to be obesite due to the long time sendentary in front of TV, which could be a negative influence on children's health. Also, the relationship between youths and their parents is likely to be alienated despite the shortage of communication and interaction among them. Last and not least, some contents on TV such as violence and drug may let children become a ciminal in the future due to their weak self-discipline and manage. Nonetheless, Watching TV may play a positive role in the children's life. First of all, young people could broaden their outlook and grab more knowledge from television, which is an excellent method to help them make success when they are in adulthood in the long run. In addition, enjoining some interesing programmes on TV coule enrich young people's extra-school life so that they get relaxed and recharged in term of boring studying in school. To summarize, watching television obviously seems to be a double thorward . we should make best use of advantages of television by choosing suitable programmes and appreciating them with children, which will promote healthy and harmonious development of children in the future.
