Many people are curious about why medical research including basic type and clinical type, supposing that the research doctors should devote into are clinical type rather than basic type.Though these two kinds of researches are quite different in experimental subjects ,they have also some similarities. Firstly , in experiment purpose, basic research and clinical research are used to push the step of the development of biological medicine. Both of them are used to find new mechanism of diseases,but basic research is in animals ,cells,even molecule, while clinical research is in human. Secondly , in experiment content, both of the basic and clinical types are similar in the process of experiment.Both of them include setting questions,finding evidences and making conclusions which can indirect doctors what to do and tell them why. Thirdly , in aspects of clinical trials ,both of the basic research and clinical research are only different part of clinical trials. A theory of medicine should be proved by not only basic research but also clinical research before it become a direction. As a result, basic research and clinical research are essential for medical research, which play different but roughly the same weight roles in medicine’s development.
