As is shown in the chart above, we can see that there are five main reasons which caused the traffic accidents in a Chinese city in 2005. Among them all, drivers turning left without due care occupys the biggest part, which leads to 608 accidents in this city. It has increased ten percents compared to the number of that in 2004. Another reason contributing greatly to the emerge of accidents is drivers traveling too close to other vehicles. It also caused 411 accidents in 2005. It's not surprising that pedestrains also has something to do with the accidents. There are 401 accidents caused by people crossing roads without adequet attention to the vehicles passing by, and it has increased dramatically, only 3 percents less than accidents caused by drunk driving. Life is precious, as it only come for once. Once we lose it, we lose it forever. We should take care of ourselves and be responsible for other's life, no matter you are a driver or merely a pedestrain.
