I agree the statement that the snap judgement can never be trusted. Human and other creatures are easily to make a snap judgement when they meet a immergency, which always lead the result to a worse condition. Sometimes it may save one's life, but in most cases.it doesn't, for the judgement lacks further consideration and is made up with emotion. When we make snap decisions,it always related that we do not have enough time to to think more and just finish the decision-making process very quickly. This is the human nature when human meet a very dangerous situation. The hormone i the body rises quickly to courage the brain to make a decision. sometimes it is useful because the brain work faster and you can move faster. However, think about this, what would you do when you meet a bear in the forester? Running? definetely don't this if you have some acknowledges about how to deal with this situation. Actually you will run if you use your snap judgement. Another example is that you just notice the seemingly features when you trust your snap decision. You may decide to know someone according to how he looks like, but usually, people are not just as simple as the clothes. A wise friend told me that she know a person through what they do rather than what they say and that is how she meet with her boyfriends. She firstly met him at the campus library. He looks a little nerdy and dumb, which is later proved just a stereotype. She find him reading a book which she just want to lend.She greeted to him and fell in love with him without a few words. He is so interesting and kownledgable. More over, the snap judgement is usually emotional,which means it is not objective for a large range. Except being thought carefully, how can you make sure you are just trust yourself than the truth. Abovel all, that is reason how why the snap judgement can not be trusted.
