The dragon festive is in memory of the Qu Yuan who was the patrioitic poemist in the Chinese history. qu yuan loved his country so much that he droved himself into the rever when his country had gong.In order to avoid the fish eat the body of qu yuan, people will cook some zongzi to throw them into the rever. Besiders, people will have the race of the dragon boat in the rever. Someplace some young men will catch the dark which some old people put into the rever.
