An Unforgetable assignment It was a fine and sunny Firday. During the 30-minute break, with Emily, my classmate sitting next to me, we talked about anything and laughed in the classroom merrily while we were waiting for the class. So far, it seemed that everything was all right to me. After I finished the preparation job right for the advanced English class, I saw that Emily was crumpling some paper up and was ready to throw the paper balls away. Out of curiosity, I asked her whether I could read the words in her paper. So she kept a piece of paper on which she wrote the draft of a composition which was an assignment assigned weeks ago. And we were required to type it on the Pigai website as an assignment. Reading the composition she wrote, I asked :"why do you hurry to write it? After all, we still have 20 days left." Then, Emily looked at me with a weird expression on her face which told me something was wrong. She laughed and told me :"I guess someone misses the deadline of the assignment on Pigai website." I did not buy her words at first. After I logged in the website, scanning the massege on it, did I realize that I did make a big mistake.Having Kept my eyes and mouth opened widely for seconds, I still felt quite shocked about the fact that I mistook the deadline and hadn't finish my homework on time. And I remembered April as May. That was quite embarrassing. My face blushed in shame and I could feel that my whole body especially my face was burning red though the weather was cool and comfortable today. Soon, some classmates around me made kind but not mean fun of my poor memory. As a result, I had to write the composition and explained the reason of my delaying assignment and apologized to my teacher for it. This assignment is very awkward and a little dishonorable but unforgetable and educational for me. It's this experience that teaches me that never put off till tomorrow what can be done today.
