I have always had a belief that optimistic people are bound to be favored by god. When Socrates, the great Greek philosopher, was still single, he lived with several friends in a small room of seven or eight square meters. Despite the inconvenience of life, he is always cheerful. One suspect was that he was often asked, "why are you so happy living in such a small house?" Socrates said, "isn't it wonderful to be in the company of friends, to exchange ideas and emotions?" Later, all his friends left him alone, but he thought he had many books to keep him company, and he regarded each book as a teacher. Therefore, he is still happy every day. Socrates' student Plato asked him, "teacher, why are you always so happy? But I feel that the environment you are in every time is not so good!" Socrates replied, "what determines a person's mood is not the circumstances, but the state of mind."
