People often have their own preference in choosing a professor. Some like to choose a professor with sufficient knowledge which will give them a profound influence in study. Others may prefer the class full of fun. As for me, if I have to choose a professor, I would like to choose who was proves to be very popular in students’ evaluation. First and foremost, a popular professor must teach interestingly and fascinatingly in his class. In this case, students will be absorbed in his class, guarantee the efficiency of study in the class. Professor is a leading role in the way of study, students have more chance to love this subject with an interesting professor, and they will find relating books and journals to accumulate their knowledge even the class is finished. In addition, adequate knowledge is an essential trait for a professor with great popularity. Students can learn a lot from the class. To illustrate this point, I want to use my own example. I used to attend a class recommended by many classmates, and the professor is one of most learnt scholars I had ever met. He seemed know everything about the history from the centuries. The stories he told in the class often attract me significantly, and he always can solve the problems with the easiest approach. Last but not the least, a professor with popularity among students should be patient and kind to his students. For example, Mr. Li is a professor popular in students’ evaluations in my college. When I was doing my project during the semester, he always answered my question patiently and gave me advice. He never thought my problems was too simple or regarded me as an annoyed person who continually ask some fundamental questions. Finally, my project had a great success. In conclusion, I prefer to choose a popular professor since he may be more interesting, kind and profound. And these characteristics must pave the way to my own success in both life and study.
