As is illustrated in the cartoon, there are many people sit in their own room looking at the computer carefully and communicating with neighbors using the Internet. These independent rooms were placed like a net. Below the cartoon, there is a caption which reads: the near and far among the Internet. The portrayal has subtly revealed such a phenomenon: With the development of the Internet, people from all over the world become nearer to communicate on the Internet. Meanwhile, people also become far away from their friends and family in the reality. All of us accept the fact that the Internet brings lots of conveniences to our daily life. For instance, we can communicate with friends on the Internet instead of in their home. However, we shouldn’t ignore the other side: the time we spend on the friends and family in reality become less. We barely see them once a week. It will make us feel lonely if we continue to communicate on the Internet rather than to talk face to face. In my best understand, we should use the Internet as a tool that serves us in reality. If we want to enlarge our social circles, say, make acquaintance with people from different walks of life, we should gather regularly. Only in this way can we avoid being addicted to online communicate.
