My hometown, Changsha, is the capital of Hunan province and best known as the star city for its well developed entertainment industry and tourism. There are numerous places and attractions worth recommending, among which Yuelu Mountain is the first one that I'd like to introduce to my foreign friend. Firstly, at the foot of Yuelu Mountain is the prominent Yuelu Academy, which has an exceedingly long history and whose architecture is characteristic of Song Dynasty. Then, after a half hour tour we will reach the Bird Forest in which there are various rare birds, just as the name suggests. What's more, the birds will sing, perform, and even interact with people. Finally we will arrive at the peak, Baiyun Summit, where the scenery is spectacular and we can have a wonderful panorama of the whole city. I bet that the Yuelu Mountain will leave a good impression on my foreign friend and we will have a good time there, enjoying ourselves.
