Is this supposed to be one sided? Some people take good stuff from social media while others take bad stuff instead, and others just don't get neither. Personally saying, I think whether social media is good or bad only comes down to how we use it just like knife. Social tools such as Blog and WeChat are just reflections of the wants and desires of our society, they are not good or bad. They are just dumb tools which people use how they see fit. What’s more, we should see social media has proved useful. For instance, it is an easy way for friends who dispersed across several areas to keep up with each other. In addition, Nowadays, social media is like a world of knowledge to us which gives us different knowledge to main current events and makes us easier to understand. Yes, it can be highly addictive and a lot of activities that go on there could be classed as fairly pointless. Furthermore, if you let it rule your life and you do lose the ability to disconnect or unplug yourself from it, you must take measures to stay away from it. For this situation, I think what we are really questioning is how our culture has grown into we have today. So even if you removed all social networks now, the problems we are talking about will not go away.
